Bansard International has recently acquired a stake in Cargo Line International, thus becoming a shareholder of the Group. This new chapter of Bansard's history is one of opportunities and expansion. Here’s what is set to change.
It has been made official on May 16th 2019, right after the two parties enacted it earlier the same day, upon common agreement : Bansard international Group is now a shareholder of Cargo Line International Group. This is the result of several years of profitable collaboration between the two companies. It is also Bansard's first ever concrete link to the Australian market, which constitutes yet another great milestone in the Group’s history.
Cargo Line International is an Australian freight forwarding company that was founded in 1994 by M.Detlef Kappel. The Group prides itself on having ‘the agility of a small company with the ability of the largest’, which reminds of the way Bansard uses to describe itself. It provides multi-modal freight forwarding, customs brokerage and consultancy, transport solutions, special project services as well as advanced warehousing and distribution capabilities.

What this brings for Bansard is an opportunity to develop its network and broaden its market presence in Australia and its surrounding region, a land in which it had never set foot before. This new situation allows for Bansard to make use of Cargo Line’s warehousing capacity and distribution network efficiency in the cities of Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, and Brisbane.
